New view

Do you ever find yourself zooming in to make a small change and then zooming out to see how it looks in context? Instead, click New View on the View menu to open a new window on the same document. The new window acts completely independently of the original, so you can change its zoom level, display quality setting, or even scroll to a different part of the picture. But when you draw or edit in one window, the result is immediately displayed in the other window as well.

New View is also helpful when you want to simulate how an image will appear after you export it. For example, you can select the Pixel Preview display mode in a new view window to see how the image will look with and without JPEG compression.
